Edward W. Stein III was born on Long Island, New York, in 1975. He first started his creative endeavors as a young teenager by taking photos with a Minolta 35mm Stills camera and making experimental videos with a borrowed toy video camera (Fisher-Price PXL-2000).
In January 2000 he completed a BA at Hunter College and worked as cameraman, editor and/or producer on a variety of different productions spanning from live television that showcases the downtown art scene, PSA’s, commercials, educational and broadcast documentaries.
After a brief hiatus Edward has now refocused his creative efforts in photography. Edward has just completed his first photo book titled Manhattan Released and is currently working on his second photo book.
